About Biiyond
Biiyond is a Kathmandu-based post-production team working with international clients — ads, SaaS explainers, social content, YouTube edits, and brand videos. We don't want random edits — we want clean storytelling, polished pacing, and consistent quality. If you're the type of editor who loves deadlines, upgrades footage into something premium, and takes feedback professionally, you'll fit in.
Role Summary
We're hiring Full-Time In-House Video Editors / Motion Graphics Designers to work from our Kathmandu office. This role blends solid video-editing fundamentals with motion graphics — turning raw footage and storyboards into polished, client-ready videos with clean transitions, titles, and basic–intermediate motion graphics work. It merges what used to be two separate hiring tracks (Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer) into one role.
What You'll Work On
- Commercial ads (short, high-impact)
- Explainers (script + voiceover based)
- Social media reels/shorts (fast-paced, trendy, clean)
- YouTube videos (retention-based cuts)
- Emotional brand storytelling videos
- Motion graphics: lower thirds, transitions, titles, basic–intermediate After Effects work
Key Responsibilities (Roles & Responsibilities)
- Editing & Delivery
- Edit raw footage into polished final videos (clean storytelling + pacing)
- Sync voiceover, add music, SFX, b-roll, overlays, and titles
- Color correction + basic grading where needed
- Clean audio mixing (leveling, noise reduction when required)
- Export in correct formats (1080p/4K, Reels/Stories/YouTube ratios)
Motion Graphics (Basic–Intermediate)
- Convert storyboards into engaging final video with motion graphics, transitions, lower thirds, highlights
- Basic–intermediate After Effects work (templates, text animation, icons, simple 2D animation)
- Build reusable motion templates/assets for recurring formats
Revisions & Team Workflow
- Apply feedback properly (no ego, no repeating the same mistakes)
- Maintain file structure + naming discipline
- Share progress updates in ClickUp so the PM/team knows what's happening
- Deliver drafts on time and keep communication clear
- Collaborate with PM, Creative Director, and Client Growth on scope, references, and revisions
AI-assisted workflow (nice-to-have)
- Biiyond is building an AI-first production pipeline (see AI Editor Intern track) — comfort experimenting with AI tools in editing/motion work (AI upscaling, generative elements) is a plus, not mandatory for this role
Required Skills
- Strong editing sense (pacing, storytelling, timing)
- Clean, modern visuals (not messy edits)
- Can handle deadlines + multiple projects at once
- Comfortable with feedback & revisions
- Motion graphics ability — at least templates/text animation; stronger After Effects skills are a plus and can move you toward the top of the salary band
Software Requirement
Must be confident in at least one (better if more):
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
What We Offer
Stable, regular work (not random one-off chaos)
- Clear feedback system — you'll improve fast
- Growth opportunity (skill level = higher pay)
- Organized workflow + support from team
- Real projects with real output (portfolio growth)
