Role Overview

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Video Editor who can turn raw footage and creative briefs into engaging, polished content for different brands. The ideal candidate can manage edits from start to finish, take ownership of deadlines, and work collaboratively with the creative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit social media reels, product videos, advertisements, interviews, podcast clips, and campaign videos.
• Create engaging hooks, strong storytelling, and platform-appropriate pacing.
• Handle footage selection, audio cleanup, colour correction, subtitles, transitions, and basic motion graphics.
• Follow scripts, references, and brand guidelines while contributing creative ideas.
• Collaborate with the Senior Video Editor, Creative Head, content team, and Project Coordinators.
• Implement feedback, manage revisions, and ensure quality before final delivery.
• Maintain organised project files, footage, exports, and worklogs.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience.
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating editing skills, especially short-form branded content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Knowledge of After Effects and motion graphics is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound design, colour grading, and typography.
• Accurate Nepali and English subtitle writing.
• Good communication, organisation, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, accept feedback, and collaborate effectively.
