Salt is a Brisbane creative and performance agency. We grow businesses through paid social, paid search, SEO, websites, video and content. Our clients range from multinational manufacturers and enterprise B2B brands to builders, developers and growing local businesses, and video sits at the centre of how we grow them.

Our team works from a virtual office, online and collaborating together all day, with set hours and fixed pay.

The role

This is a senior role at a high-standard agency working with large clients. Your portfolio needs to prove you belong here.

We’re hiring a Senior Lead Video Editor to own the edit across Salt and our client accounts. You’ll work closely with our in-house videographer, Blake, who shoots on location for our clients every month, and with our strategy and creative team who script and plan the content. Footage comes to you, and you turn it into work that looks premium and performs.

What you’ll edit

• High-volume organic social content for Salt’s Instagram and client accounts
• Meta ads for Salt and client campaigns, with multiple hooks and variations for testing
• Long-form YouTube videos, brand films and explainers
• Content cut and adapted across formats, placements and platforms

What you bring

• Expert command of DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Strong colour grading and motion design skills
• Taste. You know what premium looks like and you hold a brand’s look and feel across every edit
• A versatile style that moves easily between organic, paid and long form
• An understanding of what makes an ad stop the scroll and drive action
• Speed and consistency. High volume at a high standard, every week
• The ability to take a brief, run with it and bring your own creative ideas to the table
