Senior AI Video Editor

MeetMinded is a fast-growing startup based in Slovenia that helps turn strangers into friends. Thousands of people attend our local meetups every week across major cities in the US, UK, Canada, and beyond.

We're looking for a Senior AI Video Editor who combines strong creative instincts with advanced AI video production skills and knows how to turn ideas into high-performing ads.

You'll work directly with our Growth Hacker, who owns creative strategy and media buying. Your role is to bring creative concepts to life, experiment with AI tools, and produce compelling video ads that capture attention and drive results.

We're headquartered in Ljubljana city centre, and the team works on-site. Our team is international, and English is our first office language.

We believe in moving fast, testing ideas, and pushing what's possible. And we're just getting started!

What you'll be doing

• Producing high-performing video ads for Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
• Using AI tools to generate video, visuals, voiceovers, animations, and motion graphics.
• Turning creative briefs into engaging ads with strong hooks, compelling storytelling, and effective editing.
• Staying on top of AI tools, creative trends, and winning ad formats, proactively turning ideas into new creatives.
• Collaborating with the Growth Hacker and marketing team to improve ads based on performance data.
• Testing different hooks, formats, and creative approaches to identify what works best.
• Optimizing AI-powered workflows to improve production speed, quality, and creative output.

What we expect

• Proven experience in video editing and creative production, ideally in performance marketing.
• Strong hands-on experience with AI video generation and editing tools.
• Understanding of what makes video ads effective, from hooks and pacing to storytelling and conversions.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and turn ideas into finished creatives without constant direction.
• Speed, attention to detail, and a strong sense of visual quality.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work from our office in Ljubljana city centre.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI video tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, Kling, Veo, or similar.
• Experience creating UGC-style ads and working with raw creator footage.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar.
• Experience with Meta advertising and creative performance analysis.
• A portfolio showcasing AI-generated videos and performance-focused ads.
